I have tried lightened flywheel and "mid weight" ones ( 2 different ones, both from Z Speed ). I prefer the "mid weight" one. The most recent one I bought from Z Speed along with an upgraded clutch, but not crazy. This latest flywheel looks like a OEM lightened and re conditioned and balanced. I also notice the clutch has larger springs in it. I assume this helps with softening the engagement. As for driveshaft, I have tried multiple versions. I have a CF one I boought in the 90s. Love it. It is made by ACPT. It uses a U joint an an adapter plate for attaching to rear diff. I have ran this driveshaft for years without any issues. I also have a Z1 Platinum driveshaft that uses factory CV ( not sure if that is correct term ) joint. It works well also. Much lighter, no vibrations.
